Cinco de Mayo, or ‘the 5th of May’, is normally celebrated annually on May 5th in observance of Mexico’s victory over the French Army during the battle for the city of Heróica Puebla de Zaragoza. In the United States, we celebrate Cinco de Mayo to honor the battle as well as Mexican Culture. At ENMU-Roswell, students, staff, and faculty are welcome to join us for games, music, and food at the Performing Arts Center.
