Learning about the Veterans Center
The Veteran’s Center coordinator, Aaron McCaskey held a familiarization event to bring awareness to services offered by the Veteran’s center and ENMU-Roswell in general, focusing on Veteran’s issues.
Thirty two attendees were present at the event. The students and staff shared coffee, cupcakes and information regarding topics from “what non-financial related veterans’ benefits are there?”, “What do I need to do between semesters to ensure my FA is continuing smoothly into the next semester” and others.
Staff used the opportunity as a networking opportunity, and some helpful feedback and future ideas were discussed as well.
