ENMU-Roswell offers online degrees for students in and outside of New Mexico

Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell participates in NC-SARA (National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements) which is a series of nationwide agreements which allows us to offer online programs to students in other states.

Participating Institution

Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements.

Online Licensure Programs

Federal guidelines and participation in NC-SARA requires institutions to assist students in verifying if our licensure programs will be valid in a student’s state of residence. Information on state licensure requirements is checked yearly for accuracy and students are notified upon program interest and admission as to the status of licensure for their state of residence. Because licensure decisions are the responsibility of each state board, and may change, it is important for students to be in contact with their intended state licensure office throughout their program. It is the student’s responsibility to understand and comply with the professional licensure requirements for any state.

If you need help identifying contact information for a particular state, please refer to the Professional Licensure Disclosures, or contact the Office of Admissions & Records at 575.624.7141 or email [email protected].

Student Complaints and Resolution Resources

Eastern New Mexico University is committed to providing a transparent and effective mechanism for communicating and resolving student complaints, in compliance with university policy [70-10], the U.S. Department of Education and the Higher Learning Commission.

ENMU is a NC-SARA approved institution and the New Mexico Higher Education Department (NMHED) is the NC-SARA portal entity. Distance education students attending ENMU should follow the ENMU complaint process. If they are not satisfied with that resolution, they can file a NC-SARA complaint with NMHED. Complaints regarding grades and student conduct violations shall not be reviewed by NMHED. For more information visit NMHED NC-SARA page.

Current students will need to log in with their ENMU-R ID and password to access the complaint form.

Those without a current ENMU-R ID and password can submit a complaint by contacting the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at [email protected]

The New Mexico Higher Education Department (NMHED) can further facilitate in resolving student complaints after the student has utilized all resources with the institution. Visit the New Mexico Department of Higher Education for more information. These processes are available for students both residing inside and outside the state of New Mexico.
