Being the first in your family to step into a classroom opens a door that no one has walked through before—and that journey deserves to be celebrated. Join us on November 10th from 10 AM to 1 PM in the Student Lounge for First-Generation Day, a special gathering hosted by TRiO Student Support Services to honor and uplift first-generation students.

Come as you are and stay for the whole morning. The event is filled with fun activities and complimentary snacks, giving you a chance to connect with fellow first-generation students who understand the experience firsthand. We’ll also share practical tips and techniques to help you make the most of your college journey—guidance from people who’ve been in your shoes.

Whether you’re here to celebrate, to learn, or just to grab a snack and make a new friend, this is your space. First-generation students bring something truly special to our campus, and we want to make sure you never forget that.
