OLDFIELD NAMED ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT FOR
ARTS AND SCIENCES AT ENMU-ROSWELL
Annemarie Oldfield has been named Assistant Vice President for Arts and Sciences Education at ENMU-Roswell. Oldfield currently serves as a tenured faculty of English and Education at ENMU-Roswell, where she has taught Composition, Literature, and Education Foundational courses since 2003. Before coming to ENMU-Roswell, Oldfield worked as a teacher at University High School for 11 years. Oldfield has also served as a Director of the High Plains Writing Project, an affiliate of the National Writing Project site hosted at ENMU. She is also a member of the New Mexico Higher Education Department General Common Core Steering Committee. She will begin her new position on campus June 13.
Oldfield holds a Master of Arts degree in English from Eastern New Mexico University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Eastern New Mexico University. She is currently taking courses toward a master’s degree in Education Administration.
As Assistant Vice President for Arts and Sciences Education, Oldfield will be responsible for the operation of the Arts and Sciences Education service area, including Communications, Math, Social Sciences, Sciences, Learning Resource Center, Arts, Student Success Center, Health/Physical Education, and PE Center.
