SUMMARY:Artist Lecture Series - Ash Eliza Williams
DESCRIPTION:About the Artist \nAsh Eliza Williams is an artist from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia whose work focuses on interspecies communication and non-human language. They often collaborate with scientists and have exhibited at institutions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver and the New York Hall of Science. Ash is currently a 2025–2026 artist-in-residence at the Roswell Foundation (RAiR) and has taught at Smith College and the University of Colorado.

DESCRIPTION:Join us in the ITC Commons on Tuesday\, February 10th\, to hear a presentation by sculptor Charlie Smith. \nAbout the Artist\n \nCharlie Smith (b. 1988\, Copenhagen\, DK) is a sculptor who uses methodical techniques in woodworking to question structures of perception and recognition. His work has been exhibited at a variety of venues\, including artist-run spaces such as Kill Shelters Presents (Los Angeles\, CA) and Babayaga (Hudson\, NY); galleries including Et Al (San Francisco\, CA) and Night Gallery (Los Angeles\, CA); and museums such as the Dorsky Museum (New Paltz\, NY) and WAAM (Woodstock\, NY). He holds an MFA from Bard College and a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design\, and is currently a 2006 Fellow at the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program.
