ENMU-ROSWELL TO OFFER GRANT WRITING WORKSHOP
The Center for Workforce and Community Development (CWCD) at ENMU-Roswell is offering a Grant Writing 101 Workshop on Tuesday, November 13 and Thursday, November 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the ENMU-Roswell Lawrence C. Harris Occupational Technology Center (OTC) room 121B, 20 W. Mathis. The course fee is $249 and pre-registration is required to attend.
The workshop is for experienced grant writers, novices, or anyone thinking about writing a grant. The course will provide information about strategies for funding, the different types of grant funding available, and practical hints and tips to create a fundable proposal. Participants will discuss the electronic submission process and review strategies for when proposals are or are not funded. “This is a hands-on class, so bring your program/project ideas that need funding with you,” said Vickie Thomas, CWCD director.
