ENMU-ROSWELL COMPUTER LITERACY PROJECT SEEKING STAKEHOLDER COUNCIL MEMBERS
Chaves County community members, students, and minority business representatives are being sought to serve on the Creating Connected Communities to Provide Opportunities or Project C-3PO Project Stakeholder Council. The pilot project will increase broadband connectivity and computer skills in the communities of Roswell, Dexter, Lake Arthur, Hagerman, and Midway, New Mexico. The new, free computer literacy project is being coordinated by Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell.
The six-person Project C-3PO Stakeholder Council will meet at least twice a year in 2023 through 2025. Council members will provide much needed input to make sure the trajectory of Project C-3PO is on target for students, community members, and small businesses in Chaves County.
Nominees for the council must be a student, community member, or Minority Business Enterprise (MBE/small business) representative. Student nominees must be 18 and registered in postsecondary education or technical or vocational training.
Nomination Forms are due by May 15, 2023. The form is available at this link: Stakeholder Nomination Form
