ELLINGTON NAMED ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT FOR

HEALTH EDUCATION AT ENMU-ROSWELL

      Dyan Ellington has been named Assistant Vice President for Health Education at ENMU-Roswell. Ellington most recently served as the Sun Path Site director at ENMU-Roswell. She previously worked as the Regional Operations manager for the N.M. Children Youth and Families Department in Las Cruces and Regional Program manager with the N.M. Department of Health. She has more than 12 years of experience in the health care delivery system, including community relations, finance, accounting, marketing, budgeting, planning, human resources, and management.

“As alumni of ENMU-Roswell, I am excited to have found an excellent career with my alma mater,” said Ellington. “I am honored to serve the ENMU-Roswell Health Education Unit in this capacity. Our team consists of highly qualified, skilled staff and I plan to build the success of health education for our campus and community as the first choice for students in education.”

Ellington holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies from ENMU-Roswell and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from ENMU.

As Assistant Vice President for Health Education, Ellington will be responsible for the operations of all the Health programs at ENMU-Roswell including Nursing and Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Management, Paramedic, Fire Science, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Medical Assisting, Medical Coding,  Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy, Respiratory Therapy, Radiographic Technology, Community Health Worker and Community Paramedic.
