About the Foundation

The current ENMU-Roswell Foundation was formed in 1999 through the merger of the Oilfield Training Center Foundation and the former ENMU-Roswell Foundation. This new, revitalized Foundation was organized exclusively to provide financial and material support for the promotion of education and training at ENMU-Roswell.

Our Commitment

The Foundation’s Board of Directors is made up of concerned civic and business leaders in Chaves County who are dedicated to supporting one of the region’s most important assets, ENMU-Roswell. The Foundation exists to generate private support for the University’s goal of providing a superior, affordable education to all students. All gifts to the Foundation are used for the direct benefit of students at ENMU-Roswell. The Foundation is not responsible for any paid staff and operating expenses are kept to an operational minimum. You may contact the Foundation office for a current list of directors.

  • Things New Mexico EMS providers needs to know about the National Registry

All levels of EMS providers in New Mexico who graduate after Dec 1st, 2012 are now required to successfully complete the NR testing process to become licensed in the state. This has been done at the paramedic level for a while now but is new for some of the other levels. The National Registry will accept New Mexico course completions for 2 years after graduation.

For those who are already licensed in New Mexico and are not nationally registered will remain licensed and are not required to get registered. To dispel a rumor that has been circulating, you will NOT automatically be grandfathered in and receive a card from the registry just because New Mexico has become a “National Registry state”.
