Educational Talent Search established in 1991, identifies disadvantaged young people with potential for postsecondary education, encourages them to continue and graduate from secondary schools and to enroll in programs of postsecondary education, and encourages high school dropouts to return to school. Educational Talent Search is a federally funded program promoting academic success, high school graduation, and academic opportunities in post secondary education.

Services provided by the program:

• Academic, financial, or personal counseling
• Career exploration
• Assistance with the re-entry process to high school or college
• Information on postsecondary education
• Information on student financial assistance
• Assistance in completing college admissions applications and Financial Aid applications
• Special activities focused on sixth, seventh, and eight graders
