What are Holds?
As a newly admitted student, you will automatically receive a hold which will prevent you from registering for classes. The academic advisement hold will be removed after you meet with an advisor. To view holds, go to the campus web site, www.roswell.enmu.edu Under Quick Links, click on CosmoLink or Registration/Student Records with your ENMU-R ID and password.
Why do I need advising?
The goal of academic advisement is to guide you towards a successful academic career. Advisors will help you learn about degrees that are available, as well as their requirements. You will see an academic advisor and register for classes during your orientation program.
What if I don't take a Placement exam?
If you don't complete the placement exam, there will be classes that you will not be able to register for until that exam has been completed.
What will I gain from attending NSO?
You will be better prepared to begin your academic career at ENMU-Roswell. Attendance is highly recommended for incoming freshman. In one session, you will discuss class scheduling with an Advisor, get your parking sticker and your student ID, meet new students and more!
What if I don't have a major?
Take our Focus2 assessment. Visit Focus 2 and find out what majors match with your interests.
I've attended NSO, now what?
New Student Orientation is only the beginning. Your next step in the orientation process is to attend our fun-filled day prior to the beginning of the fall semester. This event is reserved for new students.
During this event, you will enjoy a variety of activities to welcome you to campus and get you excited for the fall semester to begin. You will receive an invitation in the mail, so keep your address updated.
