Strategic Plan

1. Superior Learning
   • Begin preparation for new accreditation process
   • Implement and evaluate phase II of Distance Learning Plan
   • Increase and facilitate access to four-year and graduate degree programs and related student services
   • Expand access to educational opportunities and enhance support for student learning
   • Implement and evaluate Early College pilot program with Hagerman High School
2. Community Development
   • Improve communication with public and prospective students
   • Refine Facilities Master Plan
   • Develop plan to establish and nurture “Community University” identity
   • Continue to expand and enhance cooperative agreements with the State of New Mexico and local agencies and organizations
   • Implement GEAR UP grant
3. Responsible Stewardship
   • Develop a comprehensive Enrollment Management Plan
   • Develop an Institutional Effectiveness Plan
   • Work toward passage of statewide GO bond in November 2006
   • Improve customer service and foster loyal, engaged employees
