Bachelors and Masters Degree Information
Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell offers students access to advanced degrees. Students can complete a number of bachelor's and master's degrees right on the Roswell campus without travel to Portales.
More than 60 upper division and graduate level courses are offered at ENMU-Roswell each semester through ENMU-Portales’ instructional television (ITV) system, on-site professors, and online. Lower division courses needed to earn bachelor and master degrees can also be taken from ENMU-Roswell.
From ENMU, Roswell area residents can obtain the following bachelor’s degrees at ENMU-Roswell. These are completion programs typically requiring an associate degree or other courses from a 2-year campus:
- BAAS – (ITV, Online) Technical or Vocational focus** (See additional information below.)
- BBA – (ITV) Majors in:
- Accounting
- Business Administration
- BSN – Nursing (ITV, Videoconferencing)
- BOE Occupational Education* (See additional information below.)
- BSW –Social Work (ITV with some online courses) Field experience in various locations
- BUS – University Studies (ITV, Online)
- BSA-Elementary/K-12
- BSA-Elementary Education
- MA – English (ITV)
- MBA - Business Administration (ITV, Online)
- MS - Communicative Disorders (ITV)
- MED - Education Administration
- MED - TESOL/ESL/BLED
Alternative Licensure also available in Elementary Education and Special Education, in addition to an Elementary Education License and K-12 Endorsement.

ENMU offers two bachelor’s degrees specially designed for students with associate degrees.
**Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences - This B.A.A.S. degree is designed for students with an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.), Associate of Science (A.S.), or Associate of Arts (A.A.) (or equivalent) with a technical or vocational focus. The degree provides graduates with the opportunity to complete a course of study leading to a well-rounded education and a bachelor’s degree, which will enhance career advancement into teaching and management fields.
*Bachelor of Occupational Education - This B.O.E. degree prepares individuals for vocational or technical teaching in the public schools or industrial training area. It is designed for students who have completed an associate degree in their vocational or technical major and the majority of their general education at a two-year institution, and then transfer to Eastern to receive a bachelor’s degree and license to teach vocational education.
