ENMU-ROSWELL AND RISD PARTNER ON EARLY COLLEGE INITIATIVE
The Roswell Independent School District and ENMU-Roswell have partnered to create a new Early College High School in Roswell. Ninth graders in the Roswell Independent School District can now enroll in the school for this coming fall semester. Students can earn both a high school diploma and an associate’s degree through this new Early College program. Interested parents and students are invited to attend an informational meeting open house on Tuesday, July 29 at 6 p.m. in the Instructional Technology Center (23 W. Mathis) on the ENMU-Roswell campus.
Students take all of their classes at ENMU-Roswell and graduate in four years. With both their high school diploma and associate’s degree completed, graduates can go directly into the workforce and start a career or be on the fast track to a bachelor’s degree. There is NO cost to students or parents, but an application must be completed to be accepted into the Early College program.
Space is limited. Classes start August 14. For more information, call Principal, Porter Cutrell, at 627-2751.
