Nursing is a process of assisting the individual, family, and / or community to promote, maintain, and / or restore health. Through the nursing process of assessment, Development of nursing diagnoses and patient / client goals, implementation, and evaluation of patient / client outcomes, the uniqueness of each individual as a whole person is recognized. The scope of associate degree nursing practice centers on patient / client care including the roles of direct provider of care, manager of care, and member within the multidisciplinary health team. The associate degree (R.N.) works in these roles under the supervision of a nurse holding a baccalaureate or higher degree in nursing.

Certificate
