Food Services - Catering Information
Eastern New Mexico University - Roswell can provide dining facilities at the University for parties of almost any size and any style of service that may be required. Whether it is a dinner buffet for 200 or Hors D'Oeuvres for 20 we can meet your needs.
Service for your function can be set up in a variety of locations. In the Campus Union Building, there is the Fireplace Room for small intimate occasions. For larger functions we have the Multi-purpose Room and for banquets requiring more space the Cafeteria can be used.
During normal cafeteria hours, arrangements can be made to integrate your group and bill for services. Normal business hours for the cafeteria are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. If your event does not take place during these hours or is on the weekend a labor extra labor charge could be added to your bill.
We can arrange for delivery and set-up of food and beverage items. Food Service equipment left for your use will be picked up within 24 hours or upon other arrangements. The sponsoring individual is responsible for care of the equipment in the interim. The cost of the equipment will be billed if missing or not returned.
All functions involving Food Service will be billed according to desired menu and services performed, guarantee number given, and prices as quoted in this brochure.
A guaranteed number for services at a particular event must be confirmed no later than 48 hours before the start of your function. This is the minimum amount of time the supplies for your function can be ordered and received. That number also reflects the amount to be billed. You will be billed for the actual number of participants or the guarantee, whichever is greater.
The Office of the Facilities Coordinator will bill all catered events. When you book your event, please include an account number for college related events or a name, address and phone number for all non-college related events.
Should your event be cancelled, please notify us no later than 12 hours prior to the event. Any event cancelled within 12 hours is subject to a minimum charge of $25.00 or 10% of the guarentee whichever is greater. Any special ordered food items may be charged at cost.
All groups that are tax exempt must provide a copy of their tax exempt certificate or they will be charged applicable sales taxes. Tax-exempt certificates should be sent to:
