CAS Internship

Based on input from the ENMU-R Computer Applications and Support Advisory Committee, employers need prospective students and employees who not only have excellent communication and critical thinking skills but also have the ability to manage projects with little supervision from beginning to end, the knowledge to troubleshoot desktop applications, and handle basic computer/hardware problems.  The CAS Degree has been redesigned to give students the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the workplace.

To further ensure success, students completing the associate degree have an opportunity to apply everything they have learned by interning in a local business environment (CAS 294) to gain valuable experience.  Some of the businesses in Roswell and Artesia where students have been placed are:

Roswell & Artesia Businesses

  • Albertson’s
  • Alpha Omega Printing
  • Bank of the Southwest
  • BCA Medical Associates
  • Bureau of Land Management
  • Children, Youth, and Families
