ENMU-ROSWELL RELOCATES ARTESIA EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
The ENMU-Roswell Artesia Education Center at 602 W. Texas is no longer in operation, but ENMU-Roswell services and classes will still be available to Artesia residents. This fall, two basic computer skills classes will be offered at the PVT Building, 4011 W. Main Street in Artesia. The classes are the CAS 101 Basic Computer Skills I and CAS 151 Basic Computer Skills II. Students are asked to park in the back of PVT at the Sub-Fire station. Instructional television classes in child care are also offered for the fall semester, in addition to English, Math, Reading, and Emergency Medical Services classes held at Artesia High School, Annex Room 5. ENMU-Roswell Educational Opportunity Center advisor, Patsy King, will be available at the Artesia Public Library, 306 W. Richardson, every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. King can assist new students, especially returning adult students, with the financial aid and admissions processes, and answer questions. If you’re interested in additional classes at ENMU-Roswell, a representative from the campus Advising and Retention Center will be available to meet with area residents every second Tuesday of the month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Artesia Chamber of Commerce conference room.
