Areas of Study 
This NM Department of Health – funded program provides tobacco cessation education, services, and activities for Chaves, Lea, and Lincoln Counties. Those resources include individualized tobacco cessation education, free nicotine replacement for one month for individuals who complete the short education program, and outreach education activities geared toward reduction of smoking in multi-unit housing, education in Headstart and early childhood programs, and coordination with Children’s Medical Services to provide educational materials for children with asthma.
