Associate of Applied Science Degree
The Computer Applications and Support two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree provides students with a broad range of computer and administrative skills to meet and exceed marketplace demands. The degree is also designed to give current employees an opportunity to upgrade and strengthen their skills.

The CAS Degree will continue to offer all the Microsoft Office Suite and an opportunity for students to obtain certification in:
Microsoft Office Specialist (Office Specialist) certification is a globally recognized standard for demonstrating desktop skills. The Office Specialist program is helping meet the demand for qualified and knowledgeable people in the modern workplace.
The CAS 264 Desktop Publishing and CAS 221 Internet Technologies courses give students a well-rounded background and experience with other kinds of software applications and the web.
Certificate of Employability (16 credit hours)
The one-year Certificate of Employability is designed to help students acquire the necessary skills to obtain an entry-level computer and/or administrative support position in a business. The good news is that all of the courses in this program will apply toward obtaining a two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree in Computer Applications and Support should you decide to continue on your educational journey.

Certificate of Occupational Training (30 credit hours)
The one-year Microsoft Certificate of Occupational Training is available for students who wish to upgrade skills, often relating directly to one’s current and future employment. All courses in the curriculum also apply toward the Associate’s Degree.
CAS Internship (CAS 294)
The CAS Degree has been designed to give students the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the workplace. Students completing the associate degree have an opportunity to apply everything they have learned by interning in a local business to gain valuable work experience. The Roswell Community employers need students and employees with excellent communication and critical thinking skills. You must also be able to manage projects with little supervision from beginning to end and possess the knowledge to troubleshoot desktop applications and basic computer/hardware problems.

Providing a measurable outcome of the success of our program, the majority of our students have been offered full-time positions at the end of their internship. In fact, we have more requests for interns from local businesses than we have students to fill these positions.
ENMU-Roswell is a certified Microsoft IT Academy. The Microsoft IT Academy program is a global IT learning solution that connects educators, students, and communities. It helps students during their early information technology (IT) experience and offers a life-long learning model of continuous improvement and career development.
