Darlene Klassen - Mathematics Instructor

Ms. Klassen taught mathematics in the Roswell Independent School District for more than 25 years, after which she began teaching as an adjunct at ENMU-R. Hired as a full-time faculty member in 2004, Ms. Klassen is now a tenured mathematics instructor in the Division of Business & Science.

Dr. Diane Klassen - Instructor of Business

ITC 138 Dr. Klassen currently serves as an instructor in the Division of Business and Science. Prior to her current position, she served as the Director of Distance Education. Dr. Klassen’s doctorate degree in Educational Leadership was earned at the University of New Mexico. She also earned an MBA in Management and a B.S. in Mass Communication from Eastern New Mexico University at Portales. Dr. Klassen earned an AA degree at ENMU-Roswell in 1972 and began working at the campus in 1980. She began teaching as an adjunct instructor in 1982.

Krista Sutton - Instructor, Computer Applications and Support

Mrs. Sutton teaches or has taught Basic Computer Skills I & II, Microsoft Word and Lab, Microsoft Access and Lab, Microsoft Excel Lab, Microsoft PowerPoint and Lab, Business Math, Business English, and Ethics in Information Technologies. Mrs. Sutton began teaching as an adjunct instructor in 2000 and was hired full-time in 2008. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting from ENMU, and her Master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology from West Texas A&M University. Mrs. Sutton is a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist in Word 2007, Excel 2007, Access 2007, and PowerPoint 2007; she is also a Microsoft Office Specialist in Word 2010 and Excel 2010. Her off-hours interests include family and outdoor activities.

Cory Cogdill - Instructor of Mathematics

ITC 141 Mr. Cogdill is a full-time instructor of mathematics and statistics. Prior to ENMU-Roswell, he taught mathematics and science for 10 years at a variety of schools, including Valley Christian Academy, Gateway Christian, and Faith Academy (Manila, Philippines). Mr. Cogdill holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Chemical Engineering and Science Teaching, respectively, from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, and he is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Educational Administration at Eastern New Mexico University.

Coy Speer - Instructor, Mathematics

Mr. Speer came to ENMU-R after 20 years of service in the United States Air Force. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel Combat Rescue Officer with three distinguishing commands. He earned his B.S. from New Mexico State University, his M.S. from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and is a graduate of the USAF Air Command and Staff College. Mr. Speer was hired by ENMU-R in 2007 as a full-time mathematics instructor in the Division of Business & Science.

Lorraine Miller - Instructor, Computer Applications and Support

Mrs. Miller has been an instructor in Computer Applications & Support since 2001. She began her career at ENMU-R as an adjunct instructor while running her own teacher-supply store in downtown Roswell. Mrs. Miller's background is in banking, bookkeeping, and retail management. She holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Baylor University, and a Master's of Education in Instructional Technology from West Texas A&M University. Mrs. Miller teaches or has taught Basic Computer Skills II, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Advanced Microsoft Office, Help Desk Technologies, and Business Communications. Her off-hours interests include her family and friends, travel, reading, and movies.

Carol Dutchover - Accounting Instructor

Ms. Dutchover has been a full-time accounting instructor in the Division of Business and Science at ENMU-Roswell since 1998.  She worked in oil and gas accounting for 7 years and in banking for 6 years prior to obtaining her Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern New Mexico University.  Ms. Dutchover earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from ENMU and an associate’s degree from New Mexico State University.  She teaches the Principles of Accounting courses, Microcomputer Accounting using Quick Books, Advanced Bookkeeping, and Accounting Internship courses.  Ms. Dutchover also coordinates the campus Tax Help New Mexico site.

Vada Fry - Administrative Assistant, Business and Science

Mrs. Fry has been the Division's Administrative Assistant since being hired in December 2001. Additionally, Mrs. Fry teaches a beginning computer course. Prior to joining ENMU-R, Mrs. Fry worked in both the law enforcement and medical office fields.

Mr. Flury began teaching as an adjunct instructor in 2003, and he was hired as the Computer Lab / Proctored Testing Lab Supervisor in 2006. Mr. Flury earned his Bachelor's from Eastern New Mexico University and is currently completing his Master's in Instructional Design & Technology from West Texas A&M University. Mr. Flury's classes include Basic Computer Skills I & II, Intro to Computer Information Systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Intro to Adobe Photoshop, as well as short course overviews of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Certified in numerous Microsoft programs, he also holds certifications in Network Cabling (Copper-Based Systems, Fiber Optic-Based Systems) and Telecommunications by C-Tech Associates, Inc. In his off-hours, Mr. Flury's interests include family, friends, golf, and traveling.
