High School Student Enrollment

State statutes now allow colleges and high schools to operate a concurrent enrollment plan. ENMU-Roswell has a concurrent enrollment program which allows selected high school vocational and academic students to earn college credit while attending high school. High school students must submit a High School Concurrent Enrollment Application to the Office of Admissions and Records before the start of each semester. This form must be submitted even if the student is taking classes for college credit only. For more information, please call 624-7149.

Concurrent Enrollment with Other ENMU Campuses

Students may enroll concurrently in lower-division courses at any ENMU campus or extended degree center without special approval until they have accumulated 96 credit hours.

Concurrent Enrollment for Students in the Home School Program

High school students enrolled in the Home School Program who want to enroll concurrently at ENMU-Roswell will have to be certified by the director of instruction at the public schools (or an appropriate public school administrator where they reside) as having registered with the state as a Home School Student. The person validating their home schoolwork will sign as the students' counselor.

Concurrent Enrollment for Students in the GED Program

Students enrolled in the GED Program who want to enroll concurrently at ENMU-Roswell will have to be certified by the ABE Director as having academic ability sufficient to perform at the level required for the courses in which they wish to enroll.
